Krynica-Zdrój (Górska), located in Beskid Sądecki Mountains, is famous for its health resort values, cultural events, as well as it is a perfect starting point for playing winter sports and performing summer mountain tourism. For more than 200 years the city has been famous for its medicinal waters, due to which numerous sanatoria, clinics and SPA have been established here. Cultural events have been organized in Krynica for many years, including the annual Jan Kiepura Opera Festival. Undemanding, picturesque mountain trails, bicycle trails, quad routes and ski lifts with diverse level of difficulty, attract numerous fans of active rest. Jaworzyna Krynicka, a ski resort located not far away, is considered as the best-prepared ski resort in Poland. Krynica also has a lot to offer to the youngest tourists, including museum of toys, toboggan run, and ice-skating rink and many swimming pools.

The bus stop with busses taking tourists to the skiing lifts is located just outside of the building
